Earth’s
Care is a company that is committed to the ideals of natural well-being,
sustainability, integrity, social responsibility, and excellence in customer
service. They make an acne treatment,
anti-itch cream, arthritis cream, pain relieving ointment, and a muscle and
joint rub. The item that I have been
testing is the Triple
Action Pain Relieving Ointment.
The Earth’s Care Triple
Action Pain Relieving Ointment is designed to provide relief of minor aches
and pains that are associated with backaches, arthritis, strains, bruises, and
sprains. It has no petroleum, Parabens,
artificial colors or fragrances, or Phthalates.
It is allergy tested, is non-irritating, and is not tested on animals.
I have been dealing with a calf issue
for over 2 months now. It has really
limited my running and I have discomfort after my runs. The pain varies from minor muscle soreness to
sharp shooting pain. The doctors are not
sure what the issue is, whether it is a sprain or minor tear, but they said I
can continue to run on it. I just have to
take it easy and be aware of the pain level while I run.
I have used Tiger Balm, Bio Freeze, and
other well-known pain relief creams and ointments. The problem with most of these is the smell. It can be completely overwhelming, not only to
the user, but to anyone within 100 feet of you.
The nice thing about the Triple
Action Pain Relieving Ointment is that it has a pleasant mint smell. While there is still an odor, it is more enjoyable
than most of the other creams out there.
Another thing that I noticed is that
Tiger Balm and Bio Freeze, which were my go to creams/balms, tend to leave a
cold or warm sensation that can range from comforting, to somewhat
uncomfortable. The Triple
Action Pain Relieving Ointment on the other hand just works, without any
noticeable sensation.
I have been using the Triple
Action Pain Relieving Ointment on a regular basis after my runs and it has
made my calf feel a bit better. I have
been able to continue to train for my upcoming 50k trail race with minimal
pain. I would recommend this to people
looking for a great pain relieving ointment.
Pros:
Decent Scent
Great Price ($12.99 for a 2.5 ounce
jar)
Non Greasy
No uncomfortable sensation
