Peak Power Sports Plantar Fasciitis Sleeves Review

First we should start be discussing what Plantar Fasciitis is.  It is the most common cause of heel pain.  The Plantar Fascia is a flat band of ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes.  Its primary purpose is to support the arch of your foot, which is why Plantar Fasciitis is such a common injury in runners.  When you strain your planter fascia, it tends to get weak, swollen, or inflamed. (1)  The result is a terrible pain on the bottom of your foot or heel that hurts when you stand or walk. For severe cases, a walking boot might be required as part of a recovery plan.

Plantar Fasciitis sleeves are designed to provide compression to relieve the often excruciating pain and discomfort associated with Plantar Fasciitis.  They can also be useful in pain associated with Achilles tendon and stress fracture injuries.  The sleeves offer support and improve circulation, which will help you heal faster and get back to your training. 

The Peak Power Sports Plantar Fasciitis Sleeves are comfortable enough to wear all day long, but have enough support and compression to help with foot pain or just speed up your recovery after hard workouts or runs.  The construction and materials are good quality and the price is decent.  You get a pair (2 sleeves) for $16.95 on Amazon.  I don’t have Plantar Fasciitis, so I can’t speak to how well they help with that pain, but I felt the difference when I wore them after my long runs and intervals.  My feet felt fresher the next day, which I was impressed with.  I would assume they would be great for Plantar Fascia pain as well.  I tested the SLS3 Plantar Fasciitis Sleeves a while back and feel like the Peak Power Sports version provides a little more support.  It is also cheaper by $2.04.

Peak Power Sports is offering a pair of their Plantar Fasciitis Sleeves for $16.95 on Amazon.  These are great products, especially for the price.  Proper recovery is key to performing at your best and to reduce the risk of injury.  These Plantar Fasciitis Sleeves do a great job of reducing pain and inflammation and increasing circulation.  The price is great, especially if it can help with one of the most painful running injures, Plantar Fasciitis.  Get a pair and let me know what you think.
